In today's emerging world of invention, computer has been a hope of light for many people. Millions of people around the world use computers and internet everyday . Computer has made life easier by infinite positive changes on the other side multiple causes of privacy breach, compromised security has beet reported our the period of time .one of which notably is cyber crime
Any criminal activity that uses a computer as an instrument to execute crime falls under the category of cyber crime. Some of the major attacks are : cyber attack on kudankulam Nuclear Power plant project , malware attack at a national bank at Mumbai. It is perhaps the most complicated problem in the cyber world. With pandemic disrupting businesses as remote working becoming reality, Cyber crime has emerged as a vulnerable situation. As per the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report for the year 2020, cyber crime surged 12% across the country. Detailed report tells that major reasons are : ,Digital payments, hacking , botnet , malware ,cyber terrorists . This session will focus on above mentioned of cyber crimes and their security measures.
